For Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10 only Native mode is supported. For these features, Flash 11 is supported.

Use the Oracle Thin Driver instead for ADF.
For ADF applications, the Oracle Thin / XA Driver is not recommended. ADF is supported with Oracle Database 11.x and 12.1 in single-instance and RAC configurations. ADF (Runtime) is supported with the WebLogic (Data Direct) JDBC drivers. For third party databases, JDeveloper is supported with the vendor-provided JDBC drivers. For Other database support with ADF, use ADF Business Components with SQL-92 compatibility mode, or use EJB/JPA or POJO access as supported by the target application server. For Other database support in JDeveloper, feature support is limited to browsing tables and using the SQL*Worksheet. For ADF, database support entails using the database as a data source for ADF Business Components. 
JDeveloper support refers to using the modeling tools, browsing the database schema from the Database navigator, creating offline database objects, and using the SQL*Worksheet. The following table identifies databases supported by JDeveloper and ADF.
JDeveloper's Visual Editor for JSP/JSF does not work on OEL 5. For a complete list, see the Oracle Fusion Middleware Supported Systems Configuration page. ADF (runtime) is tested and supported on the same platforms as the other Fusion Middleware Components. JDeveloper requires a full Java SE JDK (as opposed to JRE).
